Ladies in Championship Action
Our Senior Ladies team are in championship action this Monday night when they travel to Kilbride for a championship play off game. Baordsmill are the opposition and with the winners of this game qualifying for the Championship Quarter Final we hope to see a good Donaghmore Ashbourne support cheering on the girls. Throw in is at 7.30pm
Seniors Win League Encounter
Our senior team continued their run for promotion to Division 1 of the league with a 1-13 to 1-08 win over Syddan last night. Althought they were missing a couple of players and trailed the vistiors at the break a good second half performance gave them a five point home victory. The only disappointment on the night was to see Rory O Connor carried off with an ankle injury. At the moment we have no information on how serious this injury is but hopefully Rory will be back playing very soon.

World Tour ??????
Got a photo from Vinny Carton earlier this week following his annual top of the tan as he took a break in Egypt recently. When I opened the photo first I thought he was on some sort of "training camp" but he has explained that they were quad biking in the desert. He confirmed that it's his Conor in the photo and not as it appears a hostage. He also confirmed that the item strapped to him is in fact his camera case. Check it out on the World Tour page.
More photos are required from club members but it will be hard to beat this one!!!!!!!!!
