Disappointment for the U14s

The Under 14 team were unfortunate to miss out on a championship title last Saturday. This is one of the most exciting teams in the club this year and this was obvious from the amount of support that the girls had behind them on Saturday. The team and their management have worked so hard this year and they truly deserved to be in the final. Hopefully the girls will come back stronger than ever next year and achieve what they so closely missed out on this year. See here for match report and also the report on the message board which manager Paddy Wilson submitted. His report depicts the emotions which both the team and management went through in a far better light.

The Under14 County Championship Final
The under14 team will play their championship final this weekend at home in the clubhouse. The game will be played on the main pitch at 12 noon. Please come support and hopefully the camogie club will preform a three in a row in terms of county finals. Best of luck to the team and their management who have been working tirelessly all year for this!
Congratulations!
Well done to the under14 team who successfully beat Dunderry at home to make it through to the under14 final. See here for match report.
Under14 camogie championship semi-final
The semi final of the under14 B championship will be played this coming Tuesday 9th June at home in Donaghmore/Ashbourne against Dunderry. Best of luck to the team and their management and hopefully their winning ways will continue. Please come support!

Under 14 county teamThe under14 Meath team were unfortunate to lose out to Carlow last Friday night in the Leinster Semi Final. Our three girls Cathy, Shelby and Maggie who have represented our club through-out the year on this team were all playing on the night. The team were unfortunate to lose out by a single goal to this Carlow team. The game could have gone either way and due to certain circumstances on the night it the luck was not with Meath. Although the girls may be disheartened by this loss they can take pride on the performances that they have consistently given through-out the year. To play with your county means playing at an even higher standard of camogie and all three girls excelled at this challenge. Their year may be over for the county but there is no doubt that these girls will continue to be apart of the Meath camogie scene for years to come and hopefully some more of their Donaghmore/Ashbourne team mates will join them.
