Seniors Lose out in Feis Cup
Yet again the Duleek Bellewstown side had the better of our lads when they met in Ratoath last night in the Feis Cup quarter final. Our lads trailed at the break by 0-08 to 0-01  but did have a much better second half. Unfortunately the gap was too big and we lost out on a final score line of 1-09 to 0-12.

Senior Ladies lose out in Championship Semi Final
Hard luck to the ladies and the management on their defeat to St. Ultans in the Semi Final of the Championship.

Camogie Ladies win Peg Kavanagh Tournament
Congratulations to the Donaghmore/Ashbourne girls who won the Peg Kavanagh Tournament on Saturday in the clubhouse.
They overcame Brownstown and the Donaghmore/Ashbourne 2nd Team before finally beating Boardsmill in the final.

Poker Classic this Friday!

Congratulations to Lizzy Lynch and the Meath Camogie Ladies on a great win over Wicklow on Sunday.
Final Score: Meath 8-17 Wicklow 0-04

U14 Football Blitz
Well done to the U14 boys who won the 7 a side blitz hosted in the club this weekend. They overcame Ratoath, Dunboyne and Simonstown before beating Navan O’Mahony’s in the final game. They now go on to the county finals in Navan on 29th August.

Meath U16 Ladies – All Ireland Champions!
Congratulations to the Meath U16 girls who overcame Donegal on Saturday to win the All Ireland Championship! Meath won by 2 points in the end, with the referee playing almost 13 minutes extra time! Well done to Mary O’Shaughnessy, management, and to our 4 girls Máire, Rachel, Kyna and Shauna, who represented the club on the day.

Meath Camogie ladies lose out to Offaly
The Meath camogie team lost out to Offaly this weekend in Nowlan Park. The game finished 1-8 to 0-16. Meath battled hard but Offaly were the stronger team in the end. The girls can hold their heads high reaching the All Ireland Semi Final in the first year playing at that level bowing out to last year's beaten finalists.
The girls play their Leinster Final this Sunday in the Clubhouse.

Meath U14 Ladies win Leinster Blitz
Well done to Siofra Cleary, Michelle Peel and Orla Cullen Geraghty who represented the club at the U14 Leinster Blitz. The blitz took place last Monday in Carlow with Meath seeing off Kildare, Laois and Wexford before finally beating Dublin in the final!
Congrats Girls!

Busy weekend ahead for the Royals!

Donaghmore/Ashbourne will be well represented this weekend when Meath take to the field in the Senior Football Championship, Junior Camogie Championship and U16 Ladies Football Championship.
Make sure you’re out to support the Royals and in particular our players who are representing the club on the day. Best of luck to all!
