Golf Society - Ashbourne 29th October 09
The Donaghmore Ashbourne Golf Society held their first outing in Ashbourne Golf club on Thursday .
A total of 29 Golfers took part in the event and they were blessed with good weather on the day.
As usual Ashbourne Golf Course was in great shape for the event and all players enjoyed the challenge. (Some enjoyed it more than others)
The group returned to the club where they had an excellent meal which was followed by the prizing giving event.
The inaugural winners are as follows:
Overall Winner: Matt English (playing off 21 with 37 Points )
Category 1 Winner: Enda Mc Manus
Category 1 2nd : Rossa O Donnell
Category 1 3rd : Adrian Mc Manus
Category 2 Winner: Michael Doherty
Category 2 2nd : Ian Dowd
Category 2 3rd : Ciaran Benville
Nearest the Pin: Tom Keenan
Longest Drive: Adrian Mc Manus
