U16 Hurling Team

 

U16 Hurling League 18-04-10.

Don/Ash 3 - 8. Moylough/Kilskyre 4 - 4.

On what was a busy day for the Club the " result of the day" must surely go to the U 16 Hurling team who made the trip to Kilskyre and came away with a one point win following a very entertaining game.
Don/Ash led for most of the game however the home side hit back in the second half to lead by three points with only five minutes left, then a goal from Sam Benville and a point from Martin Quinn sealed the victory in this second round game.
Liam Finn and James Dervan were solid in defence, Quinn and John Mc Andrew played well at centerfield while in the forwards Benville and Cian Field posed most threat.

U 16 Hurling League Sun 11th Apr

Donaghmore/Ashbourne 2 - 03  Dunderry 4 - 08
Our U 16 team gave a good account of themselves against a strong Dunderry side in this first round game. In a good team preformance everybody played their part with exptional displays from Daragh Walsh, Jack Hannigan, James Dervan, Martin Quinn and Sam Benville.
