All players are reminded that they will not be able to train or play unless their membership is up to date. For further information please contact Laura 01-8499140 Message from the Games Committee and Grounds Committee Mentors and Teams are advised that following the recent unprecedented weather conditions and subsequent inspection of the playing surfaces the Grounds Committee have decided that in the long term interest of the surface that All Playing Pitches in Killegland West will remain closed to general training and games until further notice. In certain very essential cases certain teams with imminent games scheduled will have restricted access to the pitches but this access must be obtained from Ground Committee Chairman, Greg Twomey in advance before access will be given. With many teams not starting their respective competitions for a number of weeks teams who require pitches should utilise our facilities available in Milltown and the Community School pitches. Any team wanting to use these pitches should contact Laura at the Club (01-8499140) to book times and ensure that no clashes occur. Please note that schedules games will have preference over training. We would ask that in the best interest of our facilities (and ultimately our teams) that teams cooperate with the Ground Committee until the pitches are available for use. Thanks in advance for your co-operation Hurling Presentation Night Congratulations to all our Hurlers who received their Junior Hurling Medals on Saturday night. Presentations were also made to the Junior Hurling Champions from 1994 – a reunion night to be remembered no doubt! Thanks also to Senior Waterford hurlers Dan Shanahan and Ken McGrath, who spent a couple of hours training our young hurlers and camogie players in the arena on Saturday afternoon.
