Henry Ellis R.I.P.
The death has taken place of Henry (father of Jack and grandfather of Ciaran) ELLIS (Bullstown, The Ward) on May 24, 2013. Removal on (Sunday) evening from his home to St. Patrick's Church, Donaghmore arriving 6 o'c. Funeral after 11 o'c. Mass on Monday to adjoining cemetery. The club send our sympathies to the Ellis family on thier sad loss at this time.
Minors book place in League Final
Well done also to our minor team who booked a place in the league final after a well deserved 6-07 to 2-04 win over St. Vincent's/Curraha on Fruday night.
Club Host Meath Junior Team
Meath Junior Team start their Leinster Junior championship this coming Wednesday when they host Kildare in Ashbourne. As a big crowd is expected we are looking for people to help out with stewarding on the night. If anyone is available please let Jackie or Frank know.
Championship Prediction Competition
Folks, Eircom are running a Championship Predictions Competition for the Championship. We are also running a mini League. The Pin nunber is JQ8FB. To all a bit of competitive edge we propose to add an entry fee of 10 Euro which can be paid to Peterby next Friday 24th in the with prizes given out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the end of the campaign. Darts Evening 22nd June
Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA are holding a Darts evening on June 22nd starting at 9pm. Our special guest will be James Keogh, captain of the Meath Darts team and ranked 73rd in the International Darts rankings. Participants will have the opportunity to take on James and there will be prizes on the night. all over 18's can participate and we look forward to a enjoyable evening testing our Darts skills.
2013 Golf Classic and Summer Barbecue
Members are advised that the 2013 Annual Golf Classic takes place in Ashbourne Golf Club on Friday 7th June. Golf and Steak Barbecue of 4 is 240 Euro. To book your tee time please contact Frank O'Donnell on 086-3477149.
Camán and Get Pampered
Members are advised of our Camogie section event “Camán and Get Pampered”. This is a massage, beauty and wellbeing event being held in the function room on May 29th. Tickets are now on sale and available from our camogie members and reception. Join us for a fun night out.
Hurling Street Leagues
Our hurling street leagues start next Tuesday for children aged between 4 & 8. Application forms are available at Club reception for those who have not already signed up.Helmets and hurleys will be supplied for children who don't have their own.
€10 for Club members to a maximum of €15 per family
€20 for Non club members to a maximum of €30 per family.
