Donaghmore Ashbourne Success at Scór!
Buaiteoirí CLG Domhnach Mór/ Chill Dhéagláin ag SCÓR na Mí 2010

Comhghairdeas le baill an chlub a bhí ag iomaíocht i gComórtas SCÓR na Mí an Satharn seo chaite agus a bhuaigh a ranna. Siad sin, Paddy Joe Moran sa chomórtas Scéalaíocht  agus Ian Jenkinson, John O’Hara, Martin Markham, Niamh Ní Mhaonaigh agus Tommy Mulvey a bhuaigh an comórtas Bhailéad.

Rachaidh an Ghrúpa Bhailéad agus an Scéalaí ar aghaidh go dtí comórtas Laighean a thionólfar i gClubtheach na Dúnta, i gCo. Na hIarmhí ar an Domhnach, 7ú Márta ag 3pm.

The club had a successful night at the Meath County Scor finals last night. Paddy Joe Moran won his category with another impressive monologue in recitation.
Our Ballad group of Martin Markham, Ian Jenkinson, John O' Hara, Niamh Mooney and Tommy Mulvey also claimed 1st Prize in their section. Although our quiz team John Kelly, Brendan O'Connor and Michael Doherty and solo singer Niamh Mooney were not in the winner's enclosure their participation help the club win the overall Club title for entrants and success. This award is presented to club's based on their participation and success in both the Junior and Senior Scor competitions. This is the second time Donaghmore Ashbourne have won this title. Colm O'Mealoid accepted the trophy on behalf of the club. Well done to all involved and especially Donal O' Loingsigh for his drive helping to promote Irish language and culture within the club and keeping the Scor alive in Meath.
